Working out with someone definitely helps out a lot as you tend to stay on each machine for a longer period of time. Before I got a workout buddy, I was only able to stay at the gym for 45 minutes maximum. With a buddy, I&amp;#8217;m there for at least an hour &amp;amp; 10 minutes. It&amp;#8217;s good to have a workout buddy because you won&amp;#8217;t realize how much time is flying by during your workouts as you two talk/catch up. The best part about having a buddy is that he/she will keep you going when you&amp;#8217;re about to give up. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Without a workout buddy, I&amp;#8217;d only be able to stay on the elliptical (for example) for about 13-15 minutes and with one, I can easily stay on it for 30 minutes. Another great thing about it is that he/she will keep reminding you of your goals when you&amp;#8217;re ready to stop doing sit-ups (for example) during your core workout. &lt;/p&gt;
